The Civil War Monument at the junction of Centre and South Streets is one of JP's most famous landmarks. Directions are often given in relationship to the "Monument." On the side of the monument park is this old colonial stone road marker "5 Miles Boston Townhouse."
The farmers market held on Tuesday 12-5 PM and Saturday 12-4 PM in the Fleet Bank parking lot is a great place to meet neighbors and taste fresh produce from the Stillman's Farm, Glenn & Genevieve Stillman 508-867-7193 Email: G2Stillman@aol.com

Dear friends and artists,
LINC is a non-profit community development corp (CDC). We hope to build affordable condominiums that would serve as live/work space for a minimum of 15 artistic and scientific households. See the attached site plan and photos.
We will add to three historic buildings and add a new building, creating:
The development requires a special permit from City Council. The site is under Agreement with the Lynn Museum and the owners of 111 Green St., a house occupied by astronomer Maria Mitchell, our first female scientist. The units will be available by .
Eight of the units will cost less than $180,000. The remainding twelve units will cost less than $200,000. We are asking the city and the state for HOME funds to make these below-market prices possible.
The majority of occupants will be creative people ñ either part-time or full-time a in the arts or in scientific pursuits, who will exhibit and sell their work and teach their skills to youth and adults in the Lynn area. The workshops will be rented from the condo association, allowing outside artists to use the rooms. Buyers will help write condo documents.
Franziska Amacher, an architect from Cambridge, will present floors plans of the new units at a meeting and tour on: Thursday, April 21st at 8:00PM.
We hope to see you there.
